Laurier Athletics - Waterloo Campus

Mooibroek led Laurier's men's curling team to a second consecutive U SPORTS/Curling Canada University Championship gold medal - and an unprecedented fourth title in program history. Playing nine games over five days, the second-year arts major from Kitchener led the Laurier rink to an 8-1 overall record. Individually, he finished third in cumulative percentage throughout the week, shooting 75%. He also earned a +4 rating. Based on these statistics, Mooibroek was named a U SPORTS first-team All-Canadian (skip). He continued his tremendous play into the playoffs, shooting 76%.
