Laurier Athletics - Waterloo Campus

Home Venues

Laurier Golden Hawk home games take place at the Athletic Complex, Ansley Alumni Field, Bechtel Park, KW Granite Club, University Stadium and the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. Find directions and parking details for each facility on this page. 

Guests and spectators will be required to pay for parking on campus Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the visitor parking lot located off the University Ave. entrance or at the metered parking spots outside the AC entrance. On weekends and after 4:30 p.m. on weekdays parking is free across campus in white permit lots. Visit the interactive Laurier parking map to find on-campus parking. White permit Lot 3A is the closest location to the Athletic Complex.

Athletic Complex

Located on the corner of King St. N and University Ave W. on the Waterloo campus, the Athletic Complex is home to Golden Hawk basketball and swimming.

The nearest ion station is Laurier-Waterloo Park and bus routes with stops at King St. N and University Ave. W are 7, 8, 12, 202.

Ansley Alumni Field

Located near the corner of King St. N and University Ave W. on the Waterloo campus, Ansley Alumni Field is home to Golden Hawks soccer and lacrosse and is located at 75 University Avenue West, Waterloo, just south of the Athletic Complex.

Bechtel Park 

Located east down University Ave. from Laurier's campus, Bechtel Park is the home of Golden Hawks Baseball. Located at 185 Bridge St. W, Bechtel Park has free parking on site and free admission to all Golden Hawks home games.

KW Granite Club

Home of to Golden Hawks Curling, the KW Granite Club is located at 99 Seagram Dr. in Waterloo. There is free parking available in the lot directly west of the club.

University Stadium

Located east of the Waterloo campus, at 81 Seagram Drive, University Stadium is home to Golden Hawk football, lacrosse and rugby. 

During football home games there is no on site parking available to the public. Fans can park on campus for free on weekends or in areas where street parking is permitted, such as Bricker Ave. Please be advised that street parking is monitored by the City of Waterloo and there is a three-hour maximum. Please follow all posted signs. 

Limited parking is available for lacrosse, rugby and soccer home games in University Stadium's parking lot.

Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex

The Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex houses the Sun Life Financial Arena which is home to both Laurier's men's and women's hockey teams. Located at 101 Father David Bauer Dr. just off of Erb St., the Recreation Complex is a 15 minute walk from campus located on the south-west side of Waterloo Park. 

There is free public parking at the Recreation Complex and public transit stops near by including the Laurier-Waterloo Park or Willis Way/Waterloo Public Square ion stops. Bus routes with stops at Bridge St. W and Univeristy Ave E. are 5, 7, 16.
