Hirtle, a second-year economics major, boosted her current scoring average to 18.8 points per game thanks to a career-best performance against the #4-ranked (and undefeated) Queen's Gaels. Hirtle posted 31 points (which was also a game high) while setting new career benchmarks in made field goals (11) and three-pointers (six). She also had three rebounds. Facing Ontario Tech in Laurier's final home game of 2022, the Sarnia, Ont. native had a game-high 28 points and matched her season-high with five rebounds while also forcing two steals, leading the Golden Hawks to their third win of the year.
