Gedge, a second-year psychology major, recorded her first OUA career goal on Sunday afternoon against the York Lions. The goal, which came late in the second period, tied the game and eventually forced overtime, guaranteeing a point for the Golden Hawks. The native of Acton, Ont. was also very effective at the faceoff dot, winning 64% of the draws she took against the Lions. She also had four shots on goal and was +1 for the game. This is Gedge's first career Laurier Athlete of the Week award.
