Taylor Elgersma continues to impress scouts both north and south of the border as he becomes the first ever U SPORTS pivot, and only the second player, to be invited to the
Reese's Senior Bowl to be played at Hancock Whitney Stadium at the University of South Alabama.

With kick-off set for 2:30pm EST on Saturday, February 1 (live on the NFL Network), the Reese's Senior Bowl is the most prestigious college football all-star game, representing the first stage in the NFL Draft process with over 900 NFL personnel from all 32 teams on hand, as well as the opportunity to play under NFL assistant coaches and coordinators.
According to the event's website, it is the longest continual-running all-star game, having taken place in Mobile, Alabama the past 76 years.Last year's game produced 110 total picks, representing 43 percent of the entire NFL draft.

Reporting for practice on Tuesday, January 28 in Mobile, the two-time OUA MVP and Hec Crighton winner from London, Ont. has already attended two all-star events state-side in the
College Gridiron Showcase and the Tropical Stardom Scrimmage in Orlando, Fla., garnering plenty of attention from eight NFL teams.

Elgersma, the
20th-ranked CFL Draft prospect, will be alongside some of the best quarterbacks in the NCAA including Riley Leonard (ND), Jalen Milroe (Alabama), Dillon Gabriel (Oregon), and National Champion Will Howard (OSU).
The Golden Hawkis the first player from a Canadian university to attend the event since Jordan Herdman-Reed, a linebacker from Simon Fraser, in 2017.
Former Laurier lineman Isaiah Adams (2024), Guelph's Tavius Robinson (2023), and Western's Tyler Varga (2015) have attended the event in recent years but had previously transferred to major NCAA Division I programs.
