TORONTO, Ont. – Golden Hawks quarterback
Taylor Elgersma and receiver
Ethan Jordan have been turning heads all season as the top duo in U SPORTS. Fresh off strong performances at the
College Gridiron Showcase, both Elgersma and Jordan are eligible to be selected in the 2025 CFL Draft come springtime.
The CFL Scouting Bureau, composed of CFL scouts, player personnel directors and general managers from the league's nine teams, had both Golden Hawks outside of the top-20 in their Fall Rankings but
could not keep them off in the Winter Edition.
Jordan, a three-time All-Canadian and multi-year OUA All-Star, is listed at #16. The Chatham, Ont., native led the nation in receptions (59), receiving yards per game (125), and touchdowns (10). He also became the first Golden Hawk receiver to hit the 1,000 yard milestone.
Elgersma, on the other hand, comes in at #20. The two-time OUA MVP and Hec Crighton winner, topped the charts in touchdowns (20), yards per game (330.4), and total passing yards (2,659) in the regular season.
In the past season, their accomplishments together include a Yates Cup championship, Uteck Bowl, and Vanier Cup appearance.
