FREDERICTON, NB - The Golden Hawks men's curling team will begin their national title defence in Fredericton, New Brunswick on Tuesday night at the
2024 U SPORTS/Curling Canada Canadian University Championships.
A successful week would see Laurier secure the fifth U SPORTS championships in men's program history.
Hosted by the University of New Brunswick, the Laurier rink led by skip

Codie Harris and coach
Matt Wilkinson will step onto the ice for its first draw at 8 pm EST against the University of Regina Cougars, skipped by Joshua Bryden.

Joining the Golden Hawks and Regina in the men's field are the Alberta Golden Bears, Brock Badgers, Dalhousie Tigers, Guelph Gryphons, Saint Mary's Huskies, and the host UNB Reds
In addition to earning a trip to the 2024 PointsBet Invitational in Calgary, the U SPORTS men's champions will represent Canada at the
2025 FISU World University Winter Games in Turin, Italy.
Laurier, which just won a fourth consecutive OUA championship, and the rest of the eight-team field will play a single round-robin, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals, which are set for 8:30 am EST on March 16, followed by the medal games at 1:30 pm EST.
