WATERLOO, Ont. - Laurier's women's rugby game against the York Lions scheduled for Saturday, October 8 at 1 pm has been cancelled due to forfeiture by York.

Per OUA rugby regulations, Laurier will be awarded a 20-0 win and an automatic five points in the standings due to the forfeiture.

Planning is already underway for alternate arrangements to recognize and honour all of the team's student-athletes and will be communicated once finalized.
