BURLINGTON, Ont. - Laurier women's hockey forward Clara Chisholm has been named an OUA Athlete of the Week along with Guelph and Ontario Tech basketball players Hannah Bourdon and Keon Baker and Brock goaltender Megan Thiessen for the period ending January 11, 2026.

Chisholm tallied her tenth multi-point game of her young OUA career and made it one to remember this past weekend. With the No. 4 Laurier Golden Hawks hosting the Ottawa Gee-Gees in their first game of 2026,

The second-year psychology major from Granton, Ont. recorded the first four-point game of her career with a two goal, two assist performance.

Both of her goals came in the opening frame, the second of which stood up as the eventual game-winner in a 5-1 victory.

Less than 24 hours later, she was at it again, assisting on the eventual game-winner in a tight-checking 3-0 win over the York Lions. Chisholm also added an assist to record her eleventh multi-point game while helping Laurier win their seventh game in a row and move into sole possession of first-place in the OUA.
