WATERLOO, Ont. - Golden Hawks men's soccer goalkeeper David Carano has been named an OUA West second team all-star.  

The third-year environmental studies major from Woodbridge, Ont., played and started in 12 games for the Golden Hawks this season.  

He faced 70 shots, allowed 22 goals, had a 1.75 goals against average and .714 save percentage, along with two clean sheets.

Carano was third in the conference in saves with 44.  

This was Carano's first all-star award.
