WATERLOO, Ont. - The 2024 schedule for the Golden Hawks' women's lacrosse team has been released. 

After competing in the annual Toronto Early Bird preseason tournament at the University of Toronto Athletic Field in Scarborough, the eight-time OUA champion Golden Hawks will begin their regular season against the same team they wrapped up last year - the Guelph Gryphons. 

Laurier defeated their Highway 7 rivals 9-6 in the conference championships' fifth-place game in October.

This year's OUA Championship will be hosted by the Brock Badgers at Brock Alumni Field in St. Catherines from Thursday, October 24 to Saturday, October 26. 

The Golden Hawks will host a slate of games at Alumni Field on Saturday, September 21 - including their match-ups against Toronto (8 am) and Trent (4:45 pm). Those squads played against each other in last year's bronze medal game, with Trent coming away victorious.

The purple and gold will wrap up its nine-game regular season against the defending OUA champion Western Mustangs on Saturday, October 19, at 3:30 pm.
