The Laurier women's field hockey team visited Carleton on October 26th and 27th to play against Ottawa, the Nepean Nighthawks, and Carleton. After a weekend of hard-fought games, the Golden Hawks came out on top, winning the entire tournament.
With 7 goals scored and only 1 goal against, the team's dedication in practice paid off. The team showed incredible grit, especially in their final match, which they soldiered through, never giving up and pushing hard to secure the victory. The team's goalie was exceptional in defending against short corners—a common play that usually ends in a goal—demonstrating the skill and resilience that helped the team succeed.
