WATERLOO, Ont. - Two more Golden Hawks are heading to the CFL Invitational Combine.
Fourth-year running back Quentin Scott and fifth-year defensive back Tristan Miller accepted invitations earlier this week.
Scott and Miller caught the eyes of CFL scouts before the 2025 season as they both participated in the annual U SPORTS East-West Bowl.
Scott made his return to the Laurier lineup this past season and made an immediate impact. In five regular season games, he had 335 rushing yards and a touchdown. He was part of a running attack that was in the league's top five rushing categories.
Over his career so far, Scott has 2,177 rushing yards, 14 touchdowns, and 213 receiving yards.
Miller appeared in seven regular season games with the Golden Hawks and was a major factor in Laurier's playoff run. The defense allowed the second-fewest points per game and allowed the fewest rushing yards per game. In 2025, he had 13 total tackles and two pass break ups.
The Milton, Ont., native recorded 48 total tackles over his career and four pass deflections.
The pair will be joining Marcus Tenney, Omari Hastings, Ryan Speight, and Josh Connors on March 6 at the University of Waterloo's Feridun Hamdullahpur Field House.
They all look to advance to the National Combine in Edmonton from March 27-29, and join Sebastian Parsalidis, Spencer Walsh, and Jesulayomi Ojutalayo.
After the combines wrap up, the flock of Golden Hawks will turn their attention to the CFL Draft that is set to take place on April 28.
