WATERLOO, Ont. - The Laurier Golden Hawks football team officially kicked off its 2026 spring camp this past Friday, opening with a combined practice alongside the Guelph Gryphons in the Dome at University Stadium.

The joint session provided an early competitive test for the purple and gold, as it offered valuable live reps and a chance to evaluate both returning veterans and new additions.

Spring camp shifts into full gear beginning Monday, with a two-week slate of practices.

Laurier will also host a second combined practice on Friday, March 27 with the McMaster Marauders in the Dome.

All spring camp practices are open to the public.

Laurier's upcoming spring camp schedule is as follows:

• March 23 - 6:00-7:30 p.m. - Ansley Alumni Field
• March 24 - 6:00-8:00 p.m. - Ansley Alumni Field
• March 25 - 5:00-7:00 p.m. - Ansley Alumni Field
• March 26 - 6:00-7:30 p.m. - Ansley Alumni Field
• March 27 - 3:00-5:30 p.m. - Dome (combined with McMaster)
• March 30 - 6:00-8:00 p.m. - Ansley Alumni Field
• March 31 - 6:00-8:00 p.m. - Ansley Alumni Field
• April 1 - 6:00-7:30 p.m. - Ansley Alumni Field
