WATERLOO, Ont. - The Laurier Golden Hawks will celebrate the program's rich basketball tradition on Alumni Night on Friday, February 13, as they host the Brock Badgers at the Laurier Athletic Complex Gym.

The evening tips off with the women's game at 6 p.m., followed by the men's match-up at 8 p.m., welcoming back former players, coaches, and supporters for a night honouring the legacy of Golden Hawks basketball.

Alumni Night will feature ceremonial tip-offs for both games, with Golden Hawks alum Sarah Collins opening the women's contest and Sandy Nixon handling the honours ahead of the men's game.

At halftime of each match-up, the WLU Basketball Alumni Golf Steering Committee will be recognized with a special cheque presentation in support of the program.

Fans can also look forward to door prizes and giveaways throughout the night.

Alumni and guests are invited to gather in the Hawk Lounge, which will offer food and beverage service and serve as a social hub for reconnecting and celebrating Laurier basketball with former teammates and friends.
