WATERLOO, Ont. - The Golden Hawks women's hockey team are lacing up their skates for seven preseason games ahead of the 2025-26 regular season. 

The purple and gold will begin their exhibition schedule with two games on the road, starting on Saturday, September 13 against the Western Mustangs, and Thursday, September 18 against the Guelph Gryphons. 

On Saturday, September 20, the Golden Hawks are back home for a matinee when the Brock Badgers come to town with puck drop set for 3 pm. 

The team takes to the road again, heading up to Oshawa on Friday, September 26 for a meeting with the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks. 

The final three preseason games are at home, starting with the first-ever match-up with the Bishop's Gaiters, the reigning U SPORTS champions on Sunday, September 28 at 10:30 am. 

Four days later, the Golden Hawks host the Gryphons at 7 pm on Thursday, October 2.  

Laurier's final tune-up game is set for Saturday, October 4 at 3 pm against the TMU Bold. 

The Golden Hawks begin the 2025-26 regular season with a tilt with the Gryphons in Guelph on Friday, October 8.
