Raitano, a third-year kinesiology and physical education major, won her first career OUA start in goal for the women's hockey team on the road Saturday afternoon at York. The netminder from Mississauga, Ont. made several crucial stops among her 26 total during the 6-2 victory, helping Laurier snap its six-game losing streak and gain a much-needed three points to solidify their playoff positioning. A big contributor on the penalty kill, allowing the special teams unit to go a perfect three for three, Raitano finished the day with a .929 save percentage.
