Starting out with a position on the Laurier film team in 2012, Matt then worked in the CFL in 2013 & 2014 for the Roughriders and Tiger-Cats respectively.
Returning to Laurier in 2015 as the Assistant Video & Digital Media Coordinator, a role he still holds today, Matt was a part of the 2016 Yates Cup winning program.
In 2021 Matt came on board at MVP Football Academy to help them extend their ability to coach such a geographically diverse group of players by having practice and game film to review remotely.
In 2022 Matt expanded his work into two new ongoing roles, first as Video Coordinator for the Tri-City Outlaws and then taking up an offer to film for 519 Sports Online, bringing local sport to the masses.
In 2023, Matt returned to Hamilton as a Video Assistant, capturing the new CFL 'all-24' endzone film.
