Lead Scout, Equipment Manager, Academic Tracking & Social Media Contributor
Prior to retiring from teaching in May 2022, Dave was a highly successful economics instructor in the prestigious International Baccalaureate program. Twice his students achieved the highest class average in the world. He also coached football teams to two championships in Peel Region.

Since 2011, Morrissey has been scouting for Laurier. He ranks the 2016 Yates Cup Victory over Western as the highlight of his career, especially because the team featured a player, Levondre Gordon, from his former high school that played a key role and eventually became an All-Canadian.

For a decade, he has also helped organize the annual Ontario High School Football Bowl Series.

In 2026, Dave's daughter Kiley set a new Canadian record in her weight class and tied for first at the World Bench Press Championships in Poland.
