Scotto was a player for the Golden Hawks from 2011 to 2014 under both Gary Jeffries and Michael Faulds. After graduating with a degree in Kinesiology, he joined the staff as the assistant offensive line coach in 2016, winning a Yates Cup in that same year. Scotto became the head offensive line coach in 2019 and added the role of academic tracking coach in 2020.
Outside of coaching, Scotto earned his Bachelor of Education from Laurier in 2019 and is a high school teacher in the Region of Waterloo. He has also coached in the community with the senior varsity Cambridge Lions since 2016 in many roles such as the offensive line coach, recruiting coordinator, associate head coach, and, most recently, adding the offensive coordinator role to his duties.
