Laurier Athletics - Waterloo Campus

Liam grew up in the nearby small town of Tillsonburg, Ont. and attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 2016 to 2021, playing football team in all five years. Recruited as a linebacker, he spent two years on the defensive line, one year as a long snapper, and one year playing both fullback and tight end in the first year of Coach Galloway's new offence. Playing multiple positions provided Liam with an interesting perspective and helped develop a deeper understanding of the game.

Through those experiences, and the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, he realized how much love he had for this program that is able to give so much to the young men within it. He knew he wanted to stay involved with the team beyond his playing career.

Liam currently works in the trades through a high-rise carpentry apprenticeship and aspires to a career in firefighting.
