From 2011 to 2014, he played defensive end for the Golden Hawks.

An OUA second-team all-star in his senior season, he was selected fifth overall by the BC Lions in the 2015 CFL Draft.

After playing one season with the Lions, Mrabure-Ajufo joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He recorded 38 tackles and three sacks over 32 games in 2016 and 2017.

He signed with the Calgary Stampeders as a free agent in early 2018. Over 11 games (before getting injured), he had five tackles and two sacks. He was a member of the Grey Cup Championship team that year.

He missed all but two games in the 2019 season due to injury. After the COVID pandemic cancelled the 2020 CFL season, he signed with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2021.

In 2022, he signed with his fifth CFL team when he became a member of the Edmonton Elks. He had 18 tackles and one sack that season.

Mrabure-Ajufo is currently in his second season helping coach the defensive line at Laurier with fellow former stellar teammates Kwaku Boateng and Trevaughan James.

He also trains other young football players to help them reach their potential. Most importantly, he takes pride in being a father to his young children, Imani and Silas.
