Beyond February: Trevaughan James

Trevaughan James played high school football at Donald Wilson Secondary School in Whitby, Ont. and at Trinity-Pawling in New York.
An outstanding defensive tackle with size and agility, he played five years at Laurier from 2015 to 2019.
He made the OUA all-rookie team in 2015. In 2017 and 2018, he was an OUA first-team all-star. In 2018, he was also a second-team All-Canadian. In 2019, he was named an OUA second-team all-star.
James was part of a great defensive line that helped the Hawks win the 2016 Yates Cup. He graduated from Laurier with a degree in kinesiology.
Recently, he became a registered massage therapist while returning for his third season as Laurier's defensive line coach.
