WATERLOO, Ont. - Golden Hawks Delaney Keen and Davis Llewellyn are the Laurier Athletes of the Week, presented by The Hawk Shop. 

Women's lacrosse midfielder Delaney Keen set the tone for the Golden Hawks regular season openers with five goals on six shots.  

Team advisor Lynn Orth said that the fifth year from Elmira was a force in the midfield and had great connections on transition.  

Llewellyn, a fifth-year arts major from Hamilton, had a dominant opening weekend in the field with game-saving catches. The right fielder had 10 hits with three doubles, seven RBIs, and scored five runs.  

Over four games, Llewellyn's batting average was .625, which was 200-points above the next player, he had an OPS of 1.460 and slugging was .812.  

This is the first Laurier Athlete of the week award for both Keen and Llewellyn.
