WATERLOO, Ont. – The Golden Hawks skated to their second straight 2–0 victory in their 2025 preseason home debut, with goaltender Kathryn Raitano earning a 24-save shutout.

Elle Spencer opened the scoring in the second period with her second tally of the preseason, finishing-off a setup from Danielle Menko.

Laurier doubled their lead in the third, as reigning OUA Rookie of the Year Clara Chisholm struck shorthanded off a feed from Kylie Laliberte for her first goal.

The purple and gold will look to carry the momentum on the road this Friday when they visit the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks.

Puck drop is set for 7:00 pm at the Campus Ice Centre in Oshawa.
