WATERLOO, Ont. - Golden Hawks Stephanie Geady and Ethan Jordan are the Laurier Athletes of the Week, presented by The Hawk Shop. 

Geady, a third-year business major, scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 35th minute in Laurier's preseason match-up against visiting Laurentian.  

A forward from Burlington, Ont., Geady brought plenty of energy to the match and worked hard to be a consistent offensive threat.  

Jordan, a fifth-year psychology major from Chatham, Ont., led the Golden Hawks to a season opening win against Guelph. He went 71-yards for the team's first touchdown of the year, and followed it up in the second quarter with another major.  

He ended the game with a game high 125 receiving yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions. 

This is the first Laurier Athlete of the Week award for Geady and fourth for Jordan.
