Phil Dolmage recognized with Employee Achievement Award

WATERLOO, Ont. - Phil Dolmage is a 2025 Employee Achievement Award winner.

Laurier Athletics & Recreation's Web and Technology Coordinator was one of nine individuals selected by the Employee Achievement Awards committee their significant contributions to the Laurier community through the application of the Employee Success Factors, which define the skills, knowledge, and learning behaviours that are critical to the achievement of Laurier's mission, vision and strategic plan.

The winners demonstrated their commitment to building a thriving community and anticipating the future through the four Employee Success Factors: Collaborative, Inclusive, Innovative and Accountable, and exemplify performance at a level that helps shape the future for our students and communities, and advances the university's strategic priorities.

Selected under the Collaborative factor, Dolmage exemplified a solution-oriented mindset and ability to integrate multiple perspectives that were instrumental in projects like the University Stadium video board installation and the creation of a solidified athletics website.

He has forged mutually beneficial relationships while showcasing his values such as teamwork, communication and innovation, providing essential support across various departments and enhancing job efficiencies. 

Recent achievements include the successful management of multiple CMS platforms, the seamless transition between software solutions, and the enhancement of event coordination and security.
