Goni Avila, a second-year business major, won two bronze medals at the Varsity Blues Winter Invitational in Toronto this past weekend. The native of Richmond Hill, Ont. swam a personal best of 25.13 seconds in the 50M fly while finishing the 50M breaststroke race in 29.56 seconds. He narrowly missed securing a third medal, placing 4th in the 50M freestyle in 23.18 seconds. Overall, Goni Avila earned a total of 32 points at the event.
