Goni Avila, a second-year business major, won four gold medals and set a new OUA division 2 record in the process this past weekend at the Dean Boles Divisional Championship at Brock University. The native of Richmond Hill, Ont., hit the wall in 56.63 seconds in the 100M backstroke to put his name in the record books. He finished first in the 50M freestyle, 50M backstroke, and 200M individual medley as well. Goni Avila was also a key cog in the relay team's first place results in the 200M and 400M freestyle races.
