Mulima, from Inverary, Ont., led the Golden Hawks men's curling rink to an overall 7-2 record and the U SPORTS gold medal in Lethbridge. Mulima curled 83% throughout the entire competition with round robin game highs of 91% versus Regina, 92% versus Lethbridge, and 86% versus Calgary. Kibo also obtained a +6 throughout the championship, out-curling opposing skips by 5% or more in six of the team's nine games, which ultimately led to him being named a U SPORTS First Team All-Canadian.
