May stepped in last-minute and quickly learned the full game day routine after another athlete couldn't compete at this past weekend's PCA Cheer Canada Collegiate Nationals competition. The first-year business major from Fergus, Ont. was a huge reason the Golden Hawks became premier all-girl university champions and the highest Canadian university premier score, making the save of the day in the pyramid.
