Quayson, from Maple, Ont., narrowly missed the podium at the championships, crossing the finish line in the 60m race in fourth, with a time of 6.90 seconds. The third-year computer science major also led off the men's 4x200m relay team that finished eighth, posting the group's fastest individual time of 22.8 seconds in the opening leg.
