Tennant, a fourth-year sociology major, was a key figure in the women's indoor track relay team setting a new program record at this past weekend's OUA championships in Windsor. The native of London, Ont. ran the third leg with both the 4x400m and 4x800m relays - the latter of which finished seventh in a very competitive field but, even more impressively, also recorded a new benchmark with a time of 9:31.60. Tennant also ran individually in the women's 1,000m race, finishing just outside the top 10 in 2:58.01, which was good for 12th place.
