Passley, a third-year arts major from Kitchener, Ont., led the charge in the basketball team's weekend split. In Friday night's win over the visiting Windsor Lancers, his 28 points were both the game-high total and a new season-high. He also had a team-high three assists and six rebounds, as Laurier was without leading scorer Taye Donald while also losing its second-highest scorer DeAndrae Pierre to injury during the game. With both players out of the lineup on Saturday, Passley stepped up as the primary ball-handler against York. He recorded a game and season-high six assists to go along with 11 points in 22 minutes of action.
