Donald, the third-year guard from St. Thomas, Ont., further enhanced his OUA MVP bid with his team's historic win over Carleton and narrow defeat to top-ranked Ottawa. Last year's team MVP was Laurier's best player on Friday night, leading the team in points (24), assists (six) and steals (four). Less than 24 hours later, he posted a game-high 23 points against Ottawa - bringing his points per game average to 22.7 and moving him back into first place in the OUA.
