The fifth-year environmental studies major matched a career-high output with 31 points - which was also a game-high total - in 43 minutes of action during Laurier's 110-109 defeat of visiting Lakehead. Pierre's hot shooting hand resulted in going 53% from the field and 6 for 7 from the free-throw line as the Golden Hawks moved to 12-2 on the season and remained second overall in the OUA standings. Playing in his 75th career U SPORTS game, Pierre also reached another milestone, hitting 1,000 career points.
