Jackson, a first-year business major from Oakville, Ont., was better than a point per game player for the women's hockey team, recording three assists and a +2 plus/minus rating over the team's two games. Her reliability and contributions saw her pull down an average ice time of 18:30, as Laurier followed-up a one-goal loss at Western on Thursday with a shutout win at Brock on Saturday. In the victory, Jackson had the primary assist in teammate Elle Spencer's game-winning goal. Jackson now sits fourth in both points and assists on the team this season.
