Smith, a fourth-year financial mathematics major from Sudbury, Ont., captained the Golden Hawks women's curling team to an undefeated 4-0 record at the McMaster Invitational. Her strategy and shot-making never allowed the opposition to score more than one point in any end and she created opportunities for the Golden Hawks to score multiple points in nine ends. With Smith skipping, the Hawks out-scored their opposition 30-9 over the weekend, and held their opponents to three points or less in each game.
