Jibb, a first-year student-athlete from Bracebridge, Ont., raced to a first-place finish in the 400 individual medley (IM) at this past weekend's Boles Divisional Championships, dropping 11 seconds from his personal-best time to 4:24.97. As a result, he qualified to race in the event at this season's U SPORTS Swimming Championships in Montreal. In the 1500 metre freestyle race held the same day, Jibb hit another personal best time when he finished third in the 200 IM. He also contributed to the Men's 4x100 metre freestyle relay's third place finish.
