Hirtle, a fourth-year economics major, averaged 21.5 points per game in a pair of wins this past weekend over Laurentian and Nipising to run Laurier's winning streak to four games. On Friday night, the native of Sarnia, Ont. posted a game and season-high of 25 points - with a career-best 15 coming from the free throw line, where she went 15 for 16. In Saturday's matinee against the Nipissing Lakers, as the Golden Hawks recorded a season-high points total, Hirtle recorded another game-high points total with 18 which came on on 53% shooting.
