Celebrate 50 Years of Fun with SU! 

Join us on Friday, January 16th for Students' Union Golden 50th Anniversary at Laurier Basketball.  Come dressed in your brightest gold to celebrate the golden 50th anniversary of the Wilfrid Laurier University Students' Union, and to pack the Athletic Complex for a Gold Out! 

The women's team tips off at 6 PM followed by the men's team at 8 PM.

What to Expect

The Laurier Golden Hawks will be wearing specialty SU Golden 50th jerseys at their game on Friday Jan 16, 2026.

Specialty Jerseys

The Golden Hawks will be wearing specialty jerseys to help celebrate the Students' Union 50th anniversary.

Stay tuned for the reveal of the design.

After the game, these limited edition jerseys will be available to own through a silent auction with proceeds going to Shinerama, in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

The Bean Bag toss that takes place at all home Golden Hawks basketball games in presented by Staples

Closest to the Hawk eye, wins
